A special Christmas guest will be popping to the park this weekend.
Santa Claus will be parking up his sleigh at Cassiobury Park on Sunday as part of some festive celebrations taking place.
The event will be held on and around the bandstand, near the Shepherds Road entrance to the park, and feature music from Watford's Rock Chorus, Holywell School choir, as well as seasonal activities for children.
Cllr Karen Collett, who oversees the council’s community events as part of her role, said: "I love Christmas, and I also love Cassiobury Park. I’m overjoyed that Santa has agreed to come and visit us.
"This is a great opportunity for children to visit him in person and deliver letters explaining what they would like to receive for Christmas.
"We want to do everything we can to encourage people in Watford to enjoy our town’s biggest beauty spot."
The event comes as part of the park's £6.6m regeneration.
