Jose Holebas is reportedly a target for Turkish side Galatarasay, and newspapers local to the club suggest he could move on loan in the coming days.
Holebas only signed a new deal at Vicarage Road a fortnight ago, but this may have been with a re-sale value in mind.
It is stated Galatasaray will pay €600,000 for a half-season loan, with the option to purchase the 33-year-old defender if they take a shine to him.
Any deal would leave Watford looking for more options in defence, with Marvin Zeegelaar their only alternative at left-back.
Holebas has proven an inconsistent performer this season, contributing three assists but putting on horror-show performances against Everton and Huddersfield, which have contributed to him making only three league starts since November 5.
