A school is celebrating achieving an “excellent” rating in its latest inspection.
Aldenham Senior School and Aldenham Prep School were recognised with the top rating following a visit by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI).
The schools achieved full compliance in every standard including educational provision, boarding, and how it has benefitted pupil’s personal and academic development.
An inspection team spent three days in the school and also looked at the parents’ response to a questionnaire.
Head master James Fowler said: “This is a very creditable reflection of the work of every one of the school staff and the way in which the pupils respond to what is offered for them.
Vicky Gocher, head mistress of the Prep School added: “It is wonderful for all the pupils and staff, from the Nursery to Year 6, to have the essence of Aldenham recognised in such a way.”
