Drivers are being advised to find alternative routes as a country lane is currently closed after a water pipe burst this morning.
Sarratt Road near Croxley Green was shut for two weeks due to a burst water main outside York House School.
The road was reopened at the weekend however, Loudwater Lane at the Green and Sarratt Road at the junction of Finches Lane were flooded again this morning.
Affinity Water has since said that a technician has been assessing the damage following the secondary burst in an area prone to attracting puddles of water.
A spokesperson said: “We are sorry for any inconvenience caused by a burst water main in Sarratt Road, Rickmansworth.
"Our technicians are on site and we are waiting for the road to be closed before we can investigate further and carry out the repair. A road closure is being put in place to ensure the safety of commuters and our technicians working to repair the main.
"We would like to thank customers for their patience whilst this repair is carried out.”
There is a diversion route down Solesbridge Lane towards the junction of Chorleywood Road and Rickmansworth Road
Drivers should seek alternative routes away from the lanes if possible as they became gridlocked during the previous closure.
