A sixth former triumphed in a young photography competition by interpreting a different perspective.
Joana Da Silva, a student at St Joan of Arc School, in Rickmansworth, won the Local Senior Heat of this years’ Watford Rotary Young Photographer Competition.
The entrants had to give their interpretation on the theme of “A Different Perspective” by supplying a portfolio of three photos reflecting the theme.
Joana was presented with a shield and certificate at her school assembly and her entry will now go on to the next stage of the competition, the District Heat.
Student Laura Muir took second place and Luke Harvey took third.The Intermediate Heat was won by Bailey Hewitt.
