The Alban Arena will present an evening of entertainment, music, comedy and more as they celebrate their 50th anniversary, on October 7 at 7pm.

Featuring a varied line-up, the variety show hopes to showcase the very best of what the venue has to offer. Curated and hosted by newly appointed patron of the arena Bob Golding, he will be joined by fellow pantomime stars Ian Kirkby and Phil Gallagher as well as comedian Adam Hills (The Last Leg), singer Gareth Gates, actors Shaun Williamson (Ricky Gervais’ Extras, Eastenders, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang UK Tour) and Rita Simons (Eastenders, Legally Blonde the Musical).

There will also be The 78 RPM Big Band, Pete Firman (The Next Great Magician), Barry from Watford (BBC Radio 2), The West End Gospel Choir, Hats Off To Led Zeppelin, St Albans comedian Vicky Arlidge, young West End star from the area Asha Banks and The Alban Arena Dancers.
