An event that prides itself on giving a shop window to local businesses drew in record visitor numbers.
Watford Expo took over the Mercure Hotel once again for its annual coming together of local businesses.
Organisers say it is a sign that in a digital world, unique opportunities for meaningful face to face time, still holds strong appeal.
Now in its third year, Watford Expo is organised by two local business women, Abby Dennis and Debbie Gilbert for the community.
The event, which took place last Thursday, had more than 400 people visiting and is designed to provide a platform for both fledgling and established businesses and charities, as well as the more well-known larger companies to showcase their products and services and to connect and learn.
More than 57 exhibitors attended, many returning for their third year including Myers Clarke Accountants, PENNInk Productions, Peace Hospice Care, Shendish Manor Hotel, Just Smile, Vows that Wow and Watford and West Herts Chamber.
Ms Dennis, owner of Watford Marketing said: “Many small businesses do not have a shop window and the aim of Watford Expo is to provide the local business community with the opportunity to display their products or services and network on a large scale, spend some time learning and exploring ideas on how they can grow their business”.
Watford Expo 2019 will be Thursday, June 27.
