A lorry which became stuck under a “low bridge” has been removed by emergency services.

Police were called at 3.05pm today after reports of a lorry wedged in a tunnel at Hunton Bridge Hill in Abbots Langley.

Police, fire and rescue services and National Rail are on the scene. The vehicle has now been removed and is awaiting recovery.

This is second time in as many months a lorry has become lodged in the Hunton Bridge Hill tunnel. The last time was on June 21 causing “traffic chaos” as one onlooker described.
