An air ambulance was called and roads were closed after concerns were raised over the welfare of a man.
Emergency services were called to a wooded area off Berry Lane, between Rickmansworth and Chorleywood, at 2.35pm yesterday afternoon.
A man aged in his 40’s was taken to hospital after an air ambulance landed in a nearby school.
Berry Lane and Valley Road were closed while emergency services dealt with the incident.
