A person has died after being struck by a train.
Police were called to Preston Road London Underground station on the Metropolitan line shortly before 11.10am this morning with reports of a person being hit by a train.
Emergency services attended the incident but the person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are working to identify the person involved to inform their family.
The incident is not currently being treated as suspicious. A file will be prepared for the coroner.
There is no service between Harrow-on-the-Hill and Wembley Park with severe delays on the rest of the Met line, including from the Watford area.
