There are long delays on the outskirts of Watford this evening due to a lane closure.
Affinity Water is repairing a water main on the A41 Colne Way northbound near the junction of Woodmere Avenue.
As a result there are queues on the A41 from before the slip road for the M1 while it has had a knock on effect on the A4008 out of Watford. Traffic is currently backed up towards the Waterfields roundabout.
The works are not expected to be completed until Friday.
