Rush hour delays due to broken down car
A broken down car caused delays into Watford this morning.
Police closed off one lane on the A4008 between the M1 and the Colonial Park roundabout because a Toyota has broken down.
Most of the vehicle was off the road but two police cars cordoned off the lane as a precaution.
Drivers faced longer journeys than usual this morning with delays on the M1 southbound from j6 for Bricket Wood. Traffic was also at a standstill at the roundabout at j5 for Watford.
Traffic has now returned to normal.
