People feel "very safe and happy" in Cassiobury Park, according to a survey.
Watford Borough Council asked people about what it thinks of the green space and they responded positively.
To help gain an understanding of how members of the public feel about the park and to highlight any issues they think it needs to focus on, Watford’s Community Safety Partnership - including Herts Police, Watford Borough Council and Veolia - held a Safer Parks community engagement event at Cassiobury Park.
Out of the 217 participants who took part in the survey, 99 per cent said they felt ‘very safe’ (81.11 per cent) or ‘fairly safe’ (17.97%), whilst they were enjoying facilities on offer, including the Cassiobury Park Hub, paddling pools, The Cha Café and the historic bandstand.
