The Mayor of Watford was on hand to help raise the colours for a day of celebration this weekend.
Peter Taylor and Watford Borough Council marked Herts Pride on September 8, by hoisting the rainbow flag and celebrating the LGBTQ community.
Herts Pride is an annual event promoting equality and diversity across the country.
This year’s celebration was held at Gadebridge Park in Hemel Hempstead.
Mr Taylor said: “Flying the flag during Herts Pride weekend is a great way to show we are a town that welcomes everyone.
“Watford has a wonderful reputation for being a diverse and vibrant place to live and we all have a part to play in ensuring this remains an important part of who we are as a town. I am determined to be a mayor for everyone in Watford.”
