Rickmansworth Fire Station open day
A fire station will host an open day with activities and demonstrations for the community.
Firefighters from Rickmansworth Fire Station are inviting people from the area to join them for an open day event on September 22.
The occasion will run from 12pm to 4pm.
Visitors will be given to fire demonstrations involving hot oil, first aid advise from St John’s Ambulance team members and talks by police, the Neighbourhood Watch team and police cadets.
There will also be a fun fair with rides, a traffic collision demonstration, a police car experience and a teddy bear parachute jump.
A police dog may also be making an appearance to meet families and sniff out other potential dangers.
Parking is available on the high street.
