A well-used country lane will be shut during the day for nearly two weeks.
Chequers Lane, which connects Abbots Langley and the A405 in Bricket Wood, will be closed for drainage and gully works.
The road closure will be in place from 9am-4.3pm for 12 days, with work beginning today.
The works are taking place close to the junction with the A405 so Woodside Road shouldn’t be affected while commuters shouldn't be affected as the works have been timed to take place outside of rush hour.
