Our cots campaign is making incredible progress – but we still need your help.

Healthcare worker Jackie Fitzsimons launched an appeal to buy Watford General Hospital’s Katherine Ward 26 new cribs.

Her plight, dubbed Cots for Tots: The Next Generation, was launched after she realised two generations of babies had spent the first few nights of their lives in the cots.

Although she is still tallying up the total raised, she is trying to garner support for a raffle draw.

She is hoping businesses in the area will donate prizes to auction off to continue plugging money into the campaign.

The raffle winners will be announced at a charity ball to support the campaign on October 13.

John Lewis is also helping with its ‘green coin’ system.

A previous story said Teddie Tots Day Nursery raised £100 for the campaign. The correct total is £1,000. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
