A college held a graduation ceremony.
Students from West Herts College cheered at the Colosseum
THe college’s deputy principal, Cath Gunn, welcomed the special guests including, the Mayor of Watford, Peter Taylor and Sal Jarvis, pro vice-chancellor of education and student experience at the University of Hertfordshire, the validating body for our higher education degree qualifications.
Alexander Bright, a public services graduate spoke about his time at West Herts College: “It’s such a great feeling to be graduating.
"West Herts College is one of the best colleges out there and I’ve made friends for life along the way. The tutors are amazing and the content is exactly what is needed to help get you into the uniformed services.”
Business lecturer Chandra Tester, who witnessed her students graduate said: “What a lovely ceremony and an incredibly proud moment to be witness to students you have seen develop, and achieve something for themselves.
"To meet the parents and be part of sharing the moment where friends and family can celebrate in that student’s success was absolutely fantastic."
