Domingos Quina scored a superb goal to help Portugal’s Under-20s secure a 2-1 victory over Italy last night.

Picking possession up some 30 yards from goal the Watford youngster took a touch to shift the ball on to his right foot before rifling into the top corner.

The goal was enough to ensure Portugal emerged as winners from the clash and saw them extend their unbeaten run to three games.

Quina has shown he has an eye for the spectacular since joining Watford and found the net with a stunning long-range drive in the 2-0 Carabao Cup win over Reading, on that occasion scoring with his left foot.

The 18-year-old, whose eagerness to play more first-team football saw him join Watford from West Ham in the summer, has previously spoken of his desire to impress and produce moments of skill.

Elsewhere, Dodi Lukebakio continued the goalscoring theme for Watford’s younger cohort of players as he scored the third goal in Belgium Under-21s 3-0 defeat of Sweden.

His strike came in the 65th minute and added to a brace from Landry Dimata to seal a comfortable win for Belgium.

The match was less satisfactory for Pontus Dahlberg as he played in goal for Sweden and was powerless to prevent the defeat.

Adalberto Penaranda’s return to the Venezuela team saw him handed an 18 minute run out as he replaced Jhon Murillo in a 2-0 win over United Arab Emirates.

Venezuela took the lead through Luis Del Pino Mago in the first minute and sealed the victory thanks to Andres Ponce’s strike early in the second half.
