A moped rider and their passenger were taken to hospital after a bike crashed into a parked car.
Whippendell Road in Watford was cordoned off between Tesco Express and Queens Avenue for two hours yesterday following the crash which happened shortly after 5pm.
Police were called to reports of a collision between a moped and the car and made the decision to close the road. Both riders were taken to hospital, however police haven’t revealed injuries sustained.
There was also concern over the bike which was smoking so the fire service also attended as a precaution.
The road was reopened at 7pm.
