Police arrested a man after a car chase ended in a supermarket car park.
A large number of officers and a helicopter were spotted in North Watford on Saturday morning after a car was asked to stop by police in St Albans Road at 10.35am.
After a short pursuit, the car was stopped in the Asda car park by the Dome roundabout.
• A 23-year-old man from Croydon was arrested on suspicion of robbery, theft of a motor vehicle, failing to stop for police, and dangerous driving.
The offences took place in London and the incident is being dealt with by Metropolitan Police officers.
