Hundreds of eager shoppers queued up to see the new Superdry and H&M stores.

intu Watford opened new shops on Thursday with a huge celebration.

H&M had a DJ spinning tunes all day and gave customers who joined the queue a special 25 per cent off wristband.

The first 200 customers received a fabulous H&M goody bag packed with freebies, samples and offers.

The Swedish brand is now home to two huge floors of quality, on-trend and sustainably produced fashion for men, women and children.

On the other side of the mezzanine, Superdry took the openings party to another level.

It also had a DJ, and knocked 20 per cent off everything for customers all day.

Last week, New Look relocated to its new spot in the new development, taking over the top and the bottom floors. Already, fashion-conscious female shoppers have been flocking in their droves to their new favourite spot and stocking up on their favourite picks for their AW18 wardrobe.

YO!Sushi will open on October 24, serving sushi and Japanese street food from its famous, self-serve conveyor belts.

The Florist, TGI Friday and Las Iguanas are also due to open this year.

In December, the nine-screen IMAX Cineworld cinema and Hollywood Bowl will open.
