A secondary school is celebrating after being a glowing report saw it judged 'outstanding.

Northwood School was praised by Ofsted inspectors for its teaching and the "exceptional progress" all students make.

It said students' behaviour and attitudes to learning are "exemplary."

Headteacher Mark Anderson said: "The outcome of this inspection is the result of a huge team effort from everybody.

"I want to thank everyone at the school who has played a part. I am immensely proud that the day to day work of all our students has been recognised by such high praise for Ofsted."
