A Holby City actress will unveil a new café when she opens the Christmas fayre at an animal shelter.
Rosie Marcel who plays Jac Naylor in the medical drama will open Cotton Tail’s at the National Animal Welfare Trust in Watford at 11am on December 2.
Proceeds from the café will go towards the charity which rescues and rehabilitates homeless animals.
Centre manager Jackie de Friez said: “The café is completely volunteer ran and all proceeds will go back into caring for our animals.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Rosie to help us open this very exciting new project.”
“We’re an Open Paw charity, so when you visit you are free to walk around and feed the animals in our care.
“We wanted to make an indoor space for people to use while visiting the animals and we have lots of homemade food and a kid’s corner for the little ones to enjoy.
Rosie will be on hand to sign photographs for a donation and there will also be a raffle.
