The step-son of arguably the most famous Page 3 girl in the feature's illustrious history is playing the lead in a pantomime.

In 1983 Samantha Fox's mother submitted photos of her 16-year-old daughter to The Sunday People newspapers Girl of the Year competition.

The Londoner came in second and caught the attention of The Sun's editors, who signed Fox up to appear topless on page 3.

With the consent of her parents she launched a successful modelling career, winning the tabloid's Page 3 Girl of the Year competition for consecutive years from 1984 to 1986.

A pop career followed which saw Fox score a number 1 in 17 countries with lusty 80s smash 'Touch Me (I Want Your Body)'.

Now Adam Olsen - the son of Fox's partner - is set to following in her step-mum's footsteps and pursue a career in the limelight at the age of 16.

The Norwegian national is currently playing the lead in Zinc Arts Ongar's 'Aladdin'.

Fox, who lives in the Redbridge area, said: "Adam has been performing all his life and has been with theatre groups since the age of five.

"He is a very bright kid.

"He reminds me of myself. I couldn't sit still for very long, and neither can he.

"He wants to be an actor just like me.

"It seems to come very naturally to him."

Fox attended the premier of the pantomime.
