A major road in Watford has reopened following a crash between two cars.
Police had blocked off Hempstead Road towards the town centre at the junction of Langley Road.
Emergency services were called shortly before 10am to reports of a collision between a Ford Fiesta and a Land Rover Discovery.
Hertfordshire Fire & Rescue reported it had to help free a person from a vehicle.
One person sustained minor injuries, Hertfordshire Constbulary says.
Hempstead Road was closed Watford-bound between Langley Road and Stratford Way.
The road is open again, however delays remain approaching where the closure was.
It had led to tailbacks all the way back to the A41 roundabout.
Drivers were diverted down Langley Road towards St Albans Road while the road was shut.
Any witnesses are asked to call 101, quoting ISR 210 of 11 December.
