Rickmansworth Road, Batchworth Lane, and London Road were all affected and it had a knock on effect on roads out of and into Rickmansworth such as the A404 and A412.
A schedule date of February 1 has been given.
Queues along the A404 between Chorleywood and Rickmansworth
Northway in Rickmansworth town centre has also been closed today because of a burst water main.
There are still traffic lights on the A404 in Chorleywood because of another burst water main. Common Road has been shut to reduce the lights to two-way rather than three. The repairs should be completed this week.
Drivers continue to face delays elsewhere across Three Rivers district.
Traffic light refurbishments are still taking place on the A41 at Langleybury Lane which is preventing people from turning right towards Chandlers Cross.
While two sets of lights between Abbots Langley and Bedmond are still causing tailbacks. The work in Abbots should be completed tomorrow, with lights clearing in Bedmond on Thursday.
