A man has appeared in court charged with causing death by dangerous driving.
Lesley Bello-Hernandez, 67, a teacher from Cambridge, died after she was hit by a vehicle in Arbury Road, Cambridge, on Wednesday.
Jack O’Donnell, 25, of Tempsford Avenue, Borehamwood, was charged by Cambridgeshire Police with causing death by dangerous driving, causing death while driving unlicensed, and causing death while being uninsured.
He appeared at Cambridge Magistrates Court on Friday where he made no plea. He has been remanded in custody.
He is set to appear at Cambridge Crown Court on March 15.
