Six people have been charged after police officers were assaulted during a 'Yellow Vest' protest in central London yesterday.
Violence erupted during a right-wing demonstration in the capital.
- Terence Dwyer, 53, of Donovan Avenue was charged with three counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and affray.
- David Coppin, 58, of Grosvenor Place, Margate was charged with Assault on an Emergency Worker and affray.
- Sarah Penton-Stuart, 46, of Binscombe Crescent, Godalming was charged with Assault on an Emergency Worker and affray.
- Miah Levy, 38, of no fixed address was charged with obstructing police, affray and possession of cannabis.
- Michael O'Sullivan, 57, of Graveley Avenue, Borehamwood was charged with Assault on an Emergency Worker and affray.
- Robert Walker, 56, of Hillingdon Street, SE17 was charged with three counts of Assault on an Emergency Worker and affray.
They will all appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on March 19.
