A man and woman have pleaded guilty to managing a brothel for nearly a year.
Sunil Mehta, 42, of Fairway, Hemel Hempstead, and Graziela McNamee, 40, of Hunton Close, Hunton Bridge, have admitted to running a brothel at a flat in Evans Wharf in Apsley.
The pair ran the brothel between June 1 2016 and April 5 2017.
Mehta has also pleaded guilty to two counts of fraud. He used a fake name of ‘Steve Denton’ which allowed him to rent the flat in Apsley from his own letting company. He also claimed back a single person occupancy allowance from Dacorum Borough Council.
The arrests of Mehta and McNamee were the result of an investigation By Hertfordshire Constabulary which led to a number of warrants in April 2017.
The pair pleaded guilty to all charges they were facing at Luton Crown Court on Friday.
They will be sentenced at Luton Crown Court in June.
