Our Camera Club members were given the theme of ‘album covers’ and the results were spectacular.

However, there could only be one winner and that was Sara White for ‘Lavender by Marillion’.

Watford Observer:

Runners up were Paul Green’s London Calling by The Clash and Iain Nibbsy’s Money for nothin’ (and your chicks for free), Dire Straights. We do like a giggle.

Watford Observer:

All the photos were taken by members of the Watford Observer Camera Club, a Facebook-based group.

Watford Observer:

The group is open to all photographers – from those who snap pictures on their phones, to professionals who capture the perfect scenes.

Watford Observer:

There are currently 426 members and it’s growing week by week. Every month the camera club is set a new challenge, a theme is given and the hard work starts. A £50 voucher is handed to the winner - along with the kudos of winning and seeing their name in lights.

All of these images were taken by the talented camera club members. So, now the next theme - and it’s ‘moving’. Two of the first entries are pictured here.
