A man has been taken to hospital after a collision involving six vehicles this afternoon.
Police shut High Elms Lane in Garston following the crash just after 2.30pm.
Four of the vehicles involved had to be recovered.
A man was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Police say the crash happened after a driver fell ill at the wheel. The Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Hertfordshire road policing unit added that because the driver was wearing his seatbelt, serious injuries were avoided.
