New guidelines are being launched to combat homelessness in Watford.
Watford Borough Council has announced it aims to reduce the number of rough sleepers by targeting key issues by opening up a Housing Portal on its website.
According to the webpage services are already available for rough sleepers in Watford.
Support currently available ranges from accommodation and food provision to advice on combatting substance and alcohol abuse and accessing mental health care.
Individuals who want to help rough sleepers are urged to refer the people they are concerned about to Watford’s homeless charity, New Hope.
