An elderly shopper’s handbag was stolen at Tesco.
The woman, aged in her 70's, was at Tesco Extra in Watford on the afternoon of May 3 when she noticed the bag missing from her trolley. Her handbag contained her purse.
When she realised what had happened, the victim cancelled all of her cards.
Police have released a CCTV image of a woman they believe can help with their enquiries.
PC Laura Grant said: “The victim immediately cancelled all of her bank cards following the incident but has been left understandably shaken by what happened to her.
“I am keen to identify the woman pictured as we believe she may have been in the area at the time of the incident and have information that could assist our investigation.”
