After a wonderful weekend of weather, it's back to reality for many of us as we head back to work and school.
The roads are a lot busier than last week with many schools back from half-term - here are the routes you should try to avoid if you're heading out.
M25 slow from j20 for Kings Langley round to j19 for Watford before it gets very heavy between j18 and j17. Stop start traffic via the M4 and M40 junctions too.
Also slow on the M25 anticlockwise approaching j25 for the A10.
Usual queues building on M1 southbound between j6 for Bricket Wood and j5 for Watford, and at j1 for Staples Corner, and queues approaching Stirling Corner on the A1 in Borehamwood.
A406 busy in the usual hotspots across north and west London.
Delays heading into the Redbridge roundabout from the A406 southbound and the A12 westbound.
In Watford, slow on St Albans Road near the Dome roundabout due to sewer works.
Slow in Waltham Way, Chingford Heath approaching the A406.
Very slow on routes in and around Mill Hill/Highwood Hill, including Hendon Wood Lane and Marsh Lane.
Good service on tube lines.
Sunny spells today but a little cooler with top temperatures of around 20 degrees celcius.
