Now in its ninth year, I’m pleased to announce that the Watford Jobs Fair is back! It will be held on September 5 at the Langley Conferencing Suites, Watford High Street, between 10am and 3pm.

It is a day-long event linking local companies with vacancies to those looking for a new job.

I am very grateful to both intu and Camelot for sponsoring it again this year. It is thanks to their sponsorship that the fair is completely free for both exhibiting companies and those looking for a job.

I’m proud that the Watford Jobs Fair has become a bit of a local institution. Every year, we welcome thousands of attendees and advertise hundreds of local jobs, volunteer opportunities and apprenticeships across a variety of exciting sectors.

Attendees can also benefit from free CV and interview advice from professionals, as well as digital marketing training.

Last year’s event saw thousands of job seekers attend to apply for jobs at more than 70 local companies including intu, Camelot, Warner Bros, The Grove, Smith & Nephew, YO! Sushi and The Grove.

The fairs are so successful because they work in the way they are supposed to - they help thousands of people secure jobs.
