Three people are in hospital after a multiple stabbing in the middle of the night.
Armed police and dog units rushed to Vicarage Road, close to Watford General Hospital and the football stadium, at around 3.15am.

This morning, Vicarage Road remains cordoned off between the stadium and Farraline Road. It is likely to be closed for most of the day.
A crime scene is in place in Vicarage Road
Police have confirmed the three victims are two men aged in their 40s and 30s and a woman in her 30s.
A Hertfordshire Constabulary spokesman said: "At 3.17am today (July 3) police were called to Vicarage Road, Watford following a report of an incident where several people had sustained stab wounds.
"Officers attended alongside the ambulance service. Three people were taken to hospital. Armed officers and a dog unit were sent to the scene to support local officers due to the nature of the incident."

Police have since added those involved are believe to known to each other.
A spokeswoman said: "Enquiries into the incident are continuing at this time, however it is believed to have been an isolated incident between people who are known to each other and there is no perceived ongoing threat to members of the community."
Anyone heading to the hospital is advised to use Thomas Sawyer Way to gain access to the site.
Vicarage Road is currently closed (Wed 3 July, 7.30am) to vehicles and pedestrians between the junctions with Farraline Road & Occupational Road, due to an ongoing incident.

Bus services in Vicarage Road are being diverted - mainly via Whippendell Road.
