Police continue to investigate a multiple stabbing in Watford which happened overnight.
Vicarage Road remains cordoned off between Farraline Road and Oxford Street after 'several people' sustained stab wounds in the early hours of this morning.

Officers at the scene have been telling passers-by that the street is likely to remain closed for most of the day - which means anyone heading to Watford General Hospital today needs to be aware of the closure.
Hertfordshire Constabulary has confirmed it was called at 3.17am (Wednesday) to reports of a stabbing. Three people were taken to hospital after police, including armed units and a dog unit, and paramedics, attended. They all remain in hospital at this time although their conditions are unknown at this stage.
Several police vehicles were seen in Vicarage Road earlier this morning
Police say they believe all those involved in the multiple stabbing were known to each other.
A spokeswoman said: "Enquiries into the incident are continuing at this time, however it is believed to have been an isolated incident between people who are known to each other and there is no perceived ongoing threat to members of the community."
At around mid-morning, the scene was still being guarded a both ends with vehicles and pedestrians blocked from walking past the crime scene.
Medical equipment is on the pavement outside a parade of shops.
As a result of the closure, buses are on diversion, mostly via Whippendell Road and anyone visiting the hospital is advised to use the Thomas Sawyer Way entrance.

This closure may be in place for most of the day, so please use Thomas Sawyer Way or follow diversions in place to access Watford General Hospital.
Traffic is coping reasonably well at the moment, but temporary roadworks in Whippendell Road, which is being used as a diversion route, is causing some gridlock.
Witnesses to the incident, or anyone else with information, are asked to contact Hertfordshire Constabulary via 101, quoting reference ISR 49 of July 3.
