Two people have been arrested following a suspected drug deal in Croxley Green.
Police had been conducting active, unmarked patrols on Friday (July 19) and had observed an alleged drug deal take place on Baldwins Lane, just before 1.45pm.
They searched a Toyota Corolla and a Volkswagen Polo. As a result, police seized an extendable baton and a quantity of suspected Class A drugs (cocaine).
A 36-year-old woman from Rickmansworth was arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A, for which she received a caution.
She was also arrested for possession of an offensive weapon and has been released under investigation.
A 44-year-old man from Hatfield was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs. He was released under investigation while enquiries continue.
Both were detained under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act.
