Police vehicles on the edge of Cassiobury Park this afternoon
Police say its large presence in Cassiobury Park today was in response to concerns about a woman.
Several police cars were parked up in Rickmansworth Road this afternoon, while officers on the ground were supported by colleagues in the sky to carry out a search of the park.
Hertfordshire Constabulary has confirmed the woman they were looking for was found safely.
A spokeswoman said: "Police were called at 3.39pm today to concern for the welfare of a woman in Cassiobury Park. Officers searched for the woman with the assistance of the police helicopter and she was found safe at around 5pm."
