A motorcyclist injured in a crash on Friday is out of hospital.
The biker, in his 40s, was airlifted to hospital after coming off his bike in Ascot Road, Watford.
Police have spoken to a driver they were trying to trace in connection with the incident.
Initial reports suggested the biker had been involved in a collision with another vehicle, which left the scene.
But Hertfordshire Constabulary now says it is not treating the incident as a hit-and-run.
A spokesman said: “Since the original report further information has come to light to suggest this may not be a fail to stop collision.
“Enquiries are progressing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.”
