Two men have died after a serious collision involving two motorcycles on the A73.
Emergency services raced to the busy road near Lanark in South Lanarkshire at around 11am.
Police have confirmed the two riders of the motorbikes died at the scene.
Emergency services remain at the scene of the collision, and the road between the A72/A73 junction at Symington and Hyndford Bridge remains closed.

It is not yet known when it will reopen.
A police spokeswoman confirmed enquiries are continuing.
