Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden are sponsoring a charity gala for people with disabilities.

DEMAND (Design & Manufacture for Disability), an Abbots Langley charity, have partnered with Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden to host a charity fundraising gala on November 15 at Shendish Manor Hotel, Apsley.

All proceeds raised will support DEMAND’s disability design services which helps people becoming mobile. New life-enhancing design projects will be revealed on the night, with guests invited to pledge their support to ensure the projects go ahead.

Denise Gillies, the organiser of the event, said: “We’re thrilled to again have the support of Dan Dark (senior vice president of Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden) and the team at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden.

“Their support at our previous gala events has meant we’ve been able to provide special sensory rocking chairs to schools in the area, which help their students with autism to regulate their sensory environment, learning skills that help them access the learning opportunities on offer.”

During the night, guests can enjoy a bar, take part in a prize draw and bid at the silent auction.

Tickets to the event are £65 each, the venue will accommodate tables of ten to twelve people as well as small groups of guests. The dress code is formal evening wear.
