Police investigating the fatal stabbing of a 27-year-old man have made two further arrests.
Police arrested two men aged 21 and 27, both from Watford, on suspicion of murder, following an armed operation in the North Watford area yesterday afternoon.
Both men are currently in police custody and are being questioned by detectives from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire major crime unit.
Luke O'Connell died in hospital after sustaining stab wounds in Gammons Lane in the early hours of last Saturday morning.
• Aamir Mustafa, aged 22, of St George’s Road, Watford, and Hamza Shah, aged 19, of Hagden Lane, Watford, have already been charged with murder and are due to appear at a pre-trial hearing on December 3 at St Albans Crown Court. A provisional trial date has been set for February 17, 2020 at St Albans Crown Court.
