Heaps of flytipping and hazardous waste is being cleared away from two sites.
A large amount of rubbish is being cleared away from the former driving range in Prestwick Road, South Oxhey, and Croxley Parish Council says waste is being cleared from Stone's Orchard in Croxley Green.
Both sites have been home to travellers within the last week.
Happy to say our contractors have finished cleaning the orchard, and removed all the human waste that was left behind. Contaminated areas have been treated with spray to help deal with any nastyness. pic.twitter.com/5K0ysXULuy

The leaseholder is paying to remove the rubbish in Prestwick Road at their own cost, believed to currently be £20,000, and the operation is expected to take between seven to ten days.

Three Rivers District Council's environmental team has been down at Prestwick Road to try and collect evidence of where the waste may have come from. There is an intention to prosecute those who disposed of their waste to someone who may not have been a licensed waste carrier.
The council has powers to fine households up to £300 if they did not carry out the correct checks.
Measures are also set to be put in place at the former driving range to prevent people and vehicles from breaking onto the land.
The travellers dragged a concrete block out of the way before breaking onto the land.
