Families have the chance to meet a Watford legend at a free open day at a gym this weekend.

Former Hornets defender Lloyd Doyley, who is currently playing for Kings Langley FC, will be at Everyone Active's Watford Woodside Leisure Centre this Sunday.

Everyone Active is opening the centre up for two consecutive Sundays for a host of free activities including swimming and exercise classes, while children's entertainment will also be on offer.

Doyley will be at Woodside from 1pm with the open day running from 11am-3pm.

The following Sunday (September 29) former Watford goalkeeper Richard Lee will be at Everyone Active's Watford Central base, again from 1pm, with the open day running from 11am-3pm.

Gary Foley, Everyone Active contract manager, said: “We’re passionate about getting the local community active and what better way for families to enjoy a fun day out than to meet two of Watford’s sporting heroes.

“All of our activities will be free across the events and we’re looking forward to welcoming local families and friends to our Watford Woodside and Watford Central leisure centres.”
