It has been no fun for drivers travelling between Bushey, Oxhey, and Watford this week, and the bad news is the problems are expected to run into next week.
There has been gridlock in Pinner Road, London Road, Waterfields Way, and Aldenham Road, to name just a few, near Bushey Arches, during the peak rush hour commute.
It is all due to emergency roadworks in Pinner Road, just past Capel Road.
Two way lights are in place to allow UK Power Networks to fix a cable which is faulty. The work, which began on Tuesday, is scheduled to be completed by September 24 but this is subject to change.
Current work in Aldenham Road, near Edinburgh Mews, which appears to be linked to UKPN's work in Pinner Road is also scheduled to be completed by September 24.
Work by Affinity Water in nearby Water Lane continues until October 5.
Drivers should also be aware there will be multi-way lights in London Road, Bushey, at the junction of Grange Road on September 29, stop-and-go boards in Aldenham Road, near Edinburgh Mews, from tomorrow (Friday) until Monday, and two-way lights in Pinner Road this weekend, between Heath Road and Watford Heath, to allow Affinity Water to safely relay a service pipe.
