A climbing frame and slide which was targeted by arsonists has been repaired at a cost of more than £100,000.
Vandals set fire to Waterfields Recreation Ground play area in Watford town centre at around 4am on May 28.
A large amount of paper was left on top of a slide before it was set on fire. The fire service attended straight away but were unable to stop extensive damage being caused to the play equipment.
The slide had to be taped off and the rope which children use to climb collapsed.

Watford Borough Council said it would carry out repairs - but it has cost them tens of thousands of pounds.
Due to the serious damage, experts had to assess the structure and then order replacements from the manufacturer in Austria.
The supply and delivery of the replacement equipment cost £93,174 and the installation of the new equipment and disposal of the damaged equipment cost £27,727.40 - bringing the final bill to around £120,000.
Councillor Steve Bolton said: "I am pleased the great piece of play equipment is now fully restored and I know the council worked hard to get it done as soon as it could.
"It's a disgrace that mindless vandals have deprived children of having fun on it during the summer."
Two teenagers were arrested in connection with the arson. Court proceedings are ongoing.
