A man has been rushed to hospital after he was hit by a van this morning.
Emergency services were called to South Way, Hunton Bridge, at 9.25am today (Thursday, October 17) to reports of a collision.
A pedestrian was hit by a white van and has been taken to Watford General Hospital for treatment.
His condition is unknown at this stage.
The van driver was not at the scene when police arrived and enquiries are ongoing to trace him.
Police had shut South Way, near the junction of Upper Highway to allow officers to carry out some investigations into the crash.
As of noon, the road is open and police have left the scene.
Officers are also appealing for any dash cam footage from anyone who was travelling in the area at the time of the incident.
