An air ambulance was called after a man was hit by a car.
Police were called by the ambulance service just before 9.30am on Friday, November 22 after an 18-year-old was hit by a Toyota Yaris in Station Road, Kings Langley.
The driver of the Yaris remained at the scene.
An air ambulance was dispatched and the man was taken to a London hospital.
His injuries, though serious, were not thought to be life-threatening.
His family are aware.
The road was temporarily closed to allow emergency service access. It was re-opened just before 10.30am.
